At Windhaven Academy, our programs are thoughtfully designed to support children at every stage of early development - from their very first days in infancy through their elementary years. Each program blends nurturing care, purposeful learning, and age-appropriate enrichment to help children grow with confidence, curiosity, and joy.

Infant & Transitional Program
(6 Weeks – 17 Months)
Our Infant Program provides a calm, loving environment where your baby’s individual needs are met with patience and care.
We focus on:
• Secure attachments and responsive caregiving
• Consistent routines that support comfort and trust
• Sensory exploration through music, movement, and touch
• Early language development through talking, singing, and reading, with outside play to ensure all-round development.
• Daily communication with parents about feeding, naps, and milestones
Our infant classrooms are designed to feel peaceful and nurturing, giving families confidence that their baby is cared for with intention and love.
Toddler Program
(2 – 3 Years)
Toddlers are natural explorers, and our Toddler Program supports their growing independence while providing the structure they need to feel secure.
This program emphasizes:
• Social-emotional development and early peer interactions
• Language expansion and communication skills
• Fine and gross motor development
• Guided play that encourages curiosity and problem-solving
• Gentle routines that support transitions and self-help skills
Educators work closely with families to support developmental milestones such as walking, talking, and early potty readiness.
Early Preschool Program
(3 - 3.5 Years)
Our Early Preschool Program introduces children to more structured learning while preserving the joy of play.
Children in this program engage in:
• Hands-on learning activities that build early cognitive skills
• Music, movement, and creative expression
• Early math and literacy foundations
• Emotional regulation and cooperative play
• Classroom routines that build confidence and independence
This stage helps children develop the social and emotional skills needed for a smooth transition into preschool.
Preschool Program
(3.5 – 4 Years)
Our Preschool Program encourages children to ask questions, explore ideas, and develop a love of learning.
The curriculum focuses on:
• Early literacy, phonics, and vocabulary development
• Math concepts such as counting, patterns, and problem-solving
• Science exploration and discovery
• Social skills, teamwork, and empathy
• Creative arts, music, and movement
Children are encouraged to think critically, express themselves, and build friendships in a supportive classroom environment.
Pre-K Program
(4 – 5 Years)
Our Pre-K Program prepares children for a confident and successful transition into kindergarten.
This program supports:
• Kindergarten readiness in literacy and math
• Critical thinking and early STEAM concepts
• Emotional resilience and self-confidence
• Following routines and multi-step directions
• Independent problem-solving and collaboration
By the time children complete Pre-K, they are academically prepared, socially confident, and excited about the next step in their learning journey.
School-Age Program
(5 – 10 Years)
Our School-Age Program provides enriching care before and after school, as well as during school breaks.
Children benefit from:
• Homework support and quiet study time
• Enrichment activities such as art, music, and group projects
• Outdoor play and physical activity
• Social connection with peers
• A structured yet relaxed environment
We also offer seasonal camps and school break programs, as well as a range of field trips. During our summer camps, field trips are twice weekly, keeping children engaged, active, and learning year-round.

Enrichment & Special Programs
In addition to our core programs, children enjoy a variety of enrichment opportunities, including:
Music and movement
Spanish language exposure
Gardening and outdoor exploration
Special events and themed activities
We also offer a variety of extra-curricular activities for an additional fee, allowing parents the opportunity to try out things like soccer, sports, martial arts, and dance without having to take them after work and school hours.
These experiences enhance creativity, confidence, and real-world learning.
